A little about me and my time at Papatoetoe Intermediate School:
With six years of classroom experience, I’ve thrived in various roles, including Across-School Leader, fostering cultural competency. My dedication to teaching PE and coaching sports teams highlights the significance of physical activity and teamwork. Passionate about environmentalism, I actively promote sustainability, inspiring the next generation to care for our planet.
My vision and hopes for our school/my class:
My vision for our school is to create a positive impact on students, colleagues, and the entire school community. I aspire to foster an environment that cultivates growth, collaboration, and a sense of belonging for everyone involved.
A bit more about me:
Tongan-born with three children and three grandsons of Tongan-Samoan heritage; they are my pride and joy. I own a home in the Fijian village of Tomuka in Lautoka. I enjoy movies and arts and crafts. I have a passion for collecting cultural artefacts that link me to the Pacific. Living locally, on the same road as the school, facilitates easy connection with our community.
