COVID-19 case update: 24.02.2022

We have had confirmation of confirmed cases of COVID-19  in our community.  The last date of attendance at Papatoetoe Intermediate was Wednesday 23rd February 2022 (known as Day 0)

If you have not been contacted by the school or the Ministry of Health, your child can still come to school.  All identified CLOSE contacts of the case have been informed.

Caregivers of students within the same class as case have been informed via email.

What you need to continue to do:

• You and your whānau should watch for symptoms

• If any develop, STAY HOME and go and get tested immediately

• Then, stay at home until you receive the result

• Continue to keep the school informed should your child receive a positive test result

• If your whānau hasn’t been vaccinated, please do so as soon as possible. You can book on-line at bookmyvaccine.nz or by calling 0800 28 29 26. It’s free.

We are currently updating processes based on today’s announcement, moving to Phase 3. We will keep you posted.
