Sad notice to our school community

We sadly announce the death of Mr John Toomer, a recent former teacher at our school. Mr Toomer served our community as a classroom teacher for fifteen years. Most recently (for five years until the end of 2023) he was a release and relieving teacher, mainly in Mr Theunisen’s class (Room 16). His wife, Margret Toomer, also worked as a Teacher Aide at our school and we remember her and the rest of the Toomer family, children and grandchildren, extended family and friends who will all now be missing John’s kind words and smile.
