A little about me and my time at Papatoetoe Intermediate
Assalamualaikum, Bula Vinaka and Morena
My name is Afroz Ali, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Papatoetoe Intermediate whanau. I have 13 years of teaching experience from Fiji with 1 year at ECE here in New Zealand. I joined this wonderful institution at the beginning of this year (2025), and it has been just over a year since I arrived in Aotearoa. I’m excited to embark on this journey ahead and look forward to contributing to this vibrant community.
My vision and hopes for our school/my class
As a teacher at Papatoetoe Intermediate, my vision is to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. I hope to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where each student feels valued and motivated to succeed. My goal is to nurture curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a love for learning, while helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, we will build a strong, positive, and collaborative community.
