PE Classroom teacher with a passion for teaching Mathematics

I am a beginner teacher who just graduated after 3 years of study at Auckland University of Technology. This is my first year at Papatoetoe Intermediate although I have previously worked at St Thomas’ primary as a Teacher aide. I have a huge passion for kids and am excited to see them grow throughout the year.

I hope to continue to grow and learn with my class and the school. I hope to connect through talanoa to the whanau and community so that these students are able to get the best opportunities they can.

I am the middle child of 5 daughters. I am born and raised a Kiwi but my heritage has a Scottish and Wales background. I play touch rugby and love to run, swim and bike which also associates with my triathlons that I love to do. I love being in the classroom and have wanted to be a teacher since I was in high school.
