Kia Ora, Ni Sa Bula, Ram Ram Whanau!
I am Ajay and my Aotearoa friends call me AJ.
I am from the Island of beautiful smiles, Fiji.

I am excited to be  Room 31 teacher this year.

I have served as a primary school teacher in Fiji for over sixteen years and a year and half as an ECE teacher in NZ. I am a qualified registered teacher with The Teaching Council of New Zealand.
I love working with Tamariki and helping them become valued members of the society.

My vision is to inspire young people to be lifelong learners.
I prioritise instilling moral values in Tamariki because I believe education without values is not worthwhile.
I am working towards building relationships and making connections with Tamariki under my care to make the education process fruitful.

A bit more about Me
I am Hindu  Indo- Fijian.  I love and respect all cultures. My utmost priority is my family.I love cooking, socialising and listening to music. Thanks to Aotearoa, so far I have had the opportunity to see Backstreet boys, Jason Derulo, Boys to Men, Kelly Rowland, and Jubin Nautiyal.
I love watching rugby 7s and playing soccer.
My motto: Be Human before anything else.
