I am the Classroom Teacher for Room 22.
I am the Lead Teacher for Travelwise and Education for Sustainability for Syndicate Uru-Rangi.
I teach Science as the specialist teacher.
I am also teaching Anime Drawing and Japanese Cultural Group
A little about me and my time at Papatoetoe Intermediate School:
I have been teaching for 4 years at Papatoetoe Intermediate School. I have also taught part time at a High School teaching Geography/Social Science and ESOL in Wellington. I enjoy living and working in the Papatoetoe community.
My vision and hopes for our school/my class:
I want my students to be independent, forward thinkers who are able to look at issues and problem solve ways to fix the issues and become more conscious of the environment and being kaitiakitanga (guardians) in the future to protect our environment.
A bit more about me:
My family is based in Wellington. I have a brother and a sister. My sister is Autistic and she inspired me to become a teacher.
I enjoy watching sports. I grew up playing various sports as a child. I enjoy dancing and have been doing this for several years.
I am also studying at Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi in Te Reo.
