Sat Shri Akal, Kia Ora!
A Glimpse Into My Work Routine:
As an Administration Assistant at an intermediate school, I play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our school office. I act as a key liaison between staff, students, and whānau—managing a variety of administrative duties with precision, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care. I take pride in being a dependable point of contact, contributing to a positive and well-organized school environment.
A Little More About Me:
Originally from Punjab, India, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications and a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field. With over two years of experience in the education sector in India, I feel grateful to continue my journey in the same field here at Papatoetoe Intermediate School.
I am truly passionate about my work and believe in the power of consistency, compassion, and continuous learning. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends. I live by the word “Shukar”—a heartfelt expression of gratitude. I believe that being thankful for what we have opens the doors to even greater blessings.
My Hopes and Vision:
I envision our school as a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering space where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow. My hope is to contribute—through both small and significant acts—to an environment where students thrive not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I believe that when students feel connected and confident, they naturally unlock their potential. I also believe that each day is a new day of learning—a fresh opportunity to grow, reflect, and move forward with purpose. It is a privilege to be part of their journey, and I strive to uphold a standard of care that reflects the mana and aspirations of our entire school whānau.
