COVID communication with community : Tuesday 22nd February 2022

We have recently had confirmation of a confirmed case of COVID-19  in our community.  The person’s last date of attendance at Papatoetoe Intermediate was Monday 21st February 2022.  The last day a case attended is known as Day ‘0’.

We are working to identify any close contacts of the confirmed case. We will move to distance learning for the relevant class as of today – Tuesday 22nd February, while we work through the list of contacts.

Caregivers of the relevant class have been informed via text message and email this morning, Tuesday 22nd February 2022. These students have been asked to remain at home until an update is received from us.
