Linda Nicholls

Specialist Soft Materials and Technology Teacher, who loves the opportunity to be creative.

I am from the south Waikato, daughter of a large immigrant family, I have worked in early childhood, primary, intermediate and high school from Otahuhu to Dublin! I have been part of the Otahuhu and Papatoetoe community for over twenty years.

I have had the pleasure of teaching at Papatoetoe Intermediate for over ten years now, and our family has been connected with the school since my own children  attended here and through contributing to the Board of Trustees. We want all of our students to take and make opportunities here whether that is through activities such as the Tironui music programme, leadership roles to sports representatives, as well as enjoying camps and trips, and of course making cool stuff at Technology and Arts classes! We want to help widen the range of experiences and skills students can have as they develop their sense of self as capable learners. Moving on from us students may be better equipped to direct their interests going into high school, or inspire personal pursuits.
