MESSAGE FOR OUR COMMUNITY

by | Oct 4, 2021

We hope that you will be able to take advantage of the relaxed Level 3 requirements and get outside and enjoy our local parks and beaches to have masked catch ups (picnics and BBQ) and especially play times with just 10 family and friends.
Returning to school – keeping our fingers crossed that we can return on Monday 18 October. Staff are all preparing for school to be ready for your children’s return.  We all want students to be safe on their way to and from and while they are at school.
Papatoetoe Intermediate School strongly encourages all people (staff and students) coming to school to be vaccinated. This hugely reduces the possibility of COVID-19 being transferred and it also reduces the chance the virus will be taken home. Please do your part in keeping everybody safe.
The MOE have also indicated that all students and staff will need to wear masks when they are inside, at school.  Please make sure your child has their own masks, sanitizer and named drink bottle every day they come to school.

We will send out an update at the end of the holidays or if we have any further updates. Again, if we can help you in any way- answer questions, or provide support – please send us an email and we will get back to you.
Kia kaha, stay safe, be kind
We can all be part of a winning team.
