MESSAGE TO OUR PAPATOETOE INTERMEDIATE COMMUNITY

Morena tatau
We hope you and your family are all safe and well.
Level 4 lockdown has been extended to Tuesday 31 August 2021. This means we all need to stay home and stay safe.
Learning continues online for students at Papatoetoe Intermediate School – over 70% of our wonderful students are online! Suggestions for learning can be found in emails sent to families and students (using their school email addresses) and on our school website.
On Monday 30 August, our school had a scheduled ‘Union Day’, this means our school will not be open for teaching and learning that day. There will be no online learning, with Teachers or Teacher Aides.
Teachers have arranged some competitions for students. Photos submitted will be posted to our school Facebook page. Students and whanau can choose if they want to participate. We just want you all to have some fun as you learn in lockdown.
If your child has no access to a device at home and needs a chromebook or a hard copy pack, today is the last day to pick it up from the school. Pick up is available from 10am until 2pm only. [Tuesday 24th August 2021]
If you cannot leave your home we can deliver to your gate. This must be arranged through your child’s teacher. If you need this, please contact our school before 1.00 pm.
When picking up please: come at the scheduled time, sign in at the gate, wear a mask, use sanitiser, stay in your car – someone will come to you, bring a pen to sign the receipt document, keep distanced.
Stay safe, wear a mask, be kind to one another… sanitise and wash your hands. Get vaccinated!
Blessings to you all at this challenging time.
From Papatoetoe Intermediate Staff.
