Room 26’s Classroom teacher with a passion for teaching Mathematics.
A little about me and my time at Papatoetoe Intermediate School:
I’ve been teaching in New Zealand for about five years now. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been at Papatoetoe Intermediate School. I did my teaching degree at the University of Auckland. I completed my Master of Education this year.
My vision and hopes for our school/ my class:
I believe that children come to school with two important things, their understanding of the world and the potential to succeed. The teacher’s role is to consolidate and connect with the children’s understandings and inspire them to reach their potential. My goal is to encourage and facilitate children in Papatoetoe Intermediate School to succeed in their educational experience and ultimately in society itself.
A bit more about me:
I live with my husband, son, and a mischievous dog Bo. My other loves are reading, watching movies, and drinking coffee.
