I am Rabinesh Nicker, Classroom Teacher for room 14. 

It gives me immense pleasure to be given this opportunity to write a few lines of introduction about myself.

To begin with, I am originally from the beautiful Paradise of the Pacific,  Fiji Islands. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Primary teaching from the University of the South Pacific, Fiji. I have been a Primary School teacher in Fiji for twenty-two years, after which I migrated to NZ, where I joined an Early Childhood Centre. I worked at the centre for one year and then was provided with the great opportunity to join and serve this esteemed institute of Papatoetoe Intermediate from the beginning of this year.

Teaching has always been a passion for me and I wish to carry on with this passion here as well. I am extremely honoured to be part of the great team of highly qualified and dedicated educators of Papint. With all the expertise around, I am optimistic that I will be able to grow and enhance my knowledge and abilities as an individual and as a teacher in this noble profession.

I wish to share my knowledge with the years of experience that I bring with the children and serve the community of Papatoetoe. I hope to get the support from all the stakeholders in the education system in assisting me deliver to the best of my abilities.
