Sad Notice to our Community

Bonnie Neilsen, a long-serving teacher at our school, sadly passed away last Sunday. She was most recently our SENCO and Learning Support Leader, the leader of our Samoan group and a strong supporter of our Kapa haka group; often attending community events, performances and always supporting school celebrations. She gave all her time, energy and passion to the students and staff of our school, working tirelessly for continued improved outcomes and to ensure teachers had what they needed to help their students. We wish her family, many of whom attended our school as students, peace, in this sad time.

We are notifying our school community because there may be some disruption to normal programmes on Wednesday 12 March because many staff members will be attending her funeral.  Please know that classes will continue; Bonnie would have wanted that.
