I joined Papatoetoe Intermediate on placement in 2022 as a counsellor and have been working here since then. I love working with our tamariki and rangatahi.
My role at school is to support our young people through the challenges they may face and empower them with the tools they need to navigate those challenges. My focus is on positive psychology and I use a strengths-based, mana enhancing approach. It is an honour to walk alongside our young people and support them.
Outside of school my life includes being mum to three teenage sons who help keep life interesting. I love the outdoors, being active and spending time in nature. My culture is Pākehā and home is the land of the famous cheese roll….Invercargill.
