Kia ora, I am a qualified counsellor and I am currently completing my Masters of Counselling. I have been involved in education as a teacher for 10 years.
I joined Papatoetoe Intermediate last year and love working here.
My role at school is to support our young people through the challenges they may face and empower them with the tools they need to navigate those challenges. My focus is on positive psychology and I use a strengths-based, mana enhancing approach. It is an honour to walk alongside our young people and support them.
I love working in Papatoetoe and being a part of the community.
My turangawaewae is Southland/Otago.
I have always been passionate about social justice and advocating for our rangatahi.
Outside of school I love spending time with family and friends. Being active and time outdoors helps keep me grounded. My whānau includes 3 children and 3 cats.
